It's been a little over a year now since we launched our initial beta, and a lot has happened since then.
One of the things we constantly hear though is how difficult it is to find our website.
I get it. “Big Picture” is a common phrase, so it's hard to find us on Google.
Then when we first got started, the only domain available was thebigpicture.io, which has confused a lot of people as well.
Why .io? Well .com wasn't available, and .io is somewhat of an inside joke in the tech world.
So we are happy to announce that we have acquired the bigpicture.io domain and will be rebranding ourselves as BigPicture.io.
This has been a common strategy for a number of startups such as Customer.io and Branch.io as a way to differentiate the website and make it easier to find in search.
Then we have also followed suit with our social media presence and have updated our handle to BigPictureIO. Here are our the new links to our Twitter and Facebook pages.
So please bear with us during the transition as it will take a bit to update everything across our app and the general internet.
Lastly, thank you for sticking with us over this last year. We've come a long way, yet we feel that we are just getting started. We have a ton of new stuff in the pipeline, and we are excited for what the future holds as we move into the next phase as a company.
